Cameras and Printing

I have always loved the mechanics and magic of cameras and have owned many different kinds and brands of cameras over the years beginning with film from 35mm to 4X5 view cameras.  In digital I have worked with many different kinds over the years ....Hasselblad camera with various Phase One digital backs,  Nikons, Canons,  and now I currently work with the new Hasselblad X1D medium format mirrorless digital camera and lenses along with a Sony A7RII and lenses.

The resulting RAW files are then processed to 16 bit tiff files in Phase One Capture One or Adobe Lightroom  RAW processing software then carefully fine tuned in Photoshop CC 2017.

Printing is done by me personally using Epson’s professional line of printers such as the 9880, 7900 and my new Surecolor P5000 printer.  Papers used are Epson Ultrasmooth, Epson Hot Press Matte,  Epson Exhibition Fiber soft gloss, Canson Infinity Baryta and Canson Platine.  Each signed print is printed to museum quality archival standards.  A new Canson paper has just come out and it has now become my “go to” favorite soft gloss paper called Canon Infinity Baryta Prestige.
