Images  were taken in the Terlingua, Texas area, (including Study Butte), 2010.  Any visit to Big Bend should include a visit to historic Terlingua Ghost Town.  With that said, Terlingua is much more than a “ghost town”.....it has great lodging at La Posada, interesting nightlife and great food at the Starlight Theater and a few other places, and interesting local folks, such as Dr. Doug and others.  There’s even some shopping to be found at places such as the Leapin Lizard and more.  Be sure and visit the old historic Terlingua cemetery and the actual “ghost town” ruins!
