Snake River, Keystone, CO.

I walked the Snake River each evening in Mid June 2009....camera and tripod in hand looking for the  magical light of early evening.  These are the images that resulted.  This time of year the grasses and foliage are a bright green and the river is overflowing it’s banks from all the snow runoff.  This series of images is dedicated to the memory of my dear friend Bette Burgdorf who recently lost her long struggle with Breast Cancer.  Bette, dedicated to using art to help the healing process,  was responsible  for placement of photographs in all patient rooms and in the halls of St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospita/Texas Heart Institutel in Houston since the early 1990’s.  Bette taught everyone who knew her what it means to live life to the fullest with cancer and what courage is all about.

May It Be...Enya
